Randell Cottage Writers Trust warmly congratulates our 2009 writer-in-resident Kirsty Gunn for winning the Book of the Year and Fiction prize at the 2013 NZ Post Book Awards for her brilliant novel set in Scotland The Big Music.

Kirsty visited Wellington the day before the awards and checked out the new Katherine Mansfield sculpture, had lunch with friends and trustees Fiona Kidman and Mary McCallum at Kirkcaldies, and signed a stack of books at Unity.
